iOS | 26.3 specific | Google Map hangs after sharing the location to other app which open the location in new app

Device: iPhone 13 Pro Max
iOS Version: iOS 26.3
Google Maps Version: 26.08.2 Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open Google Maps.
  2. Select any location
  3. Tap Share.
  4. Share the location to another app (e.g., navigation app, co - pilot or any third party apps).
  5. Return to Google Maps.

Expected Result:
Google Maps should continue functioning normally. Actual Result:
Google Maps becomes unresponsive and hangs.

Thank you for your post. Google Maps is a third-party application, and I am curious if you have communicated with the developers of that application regarding the issue and how to reproduce it.

I would be very interested in any compatibility issues related to sharing location. If you are able to reproduce the issue and provide the workflow for me to reproduce it in iOS 26.3, I would appreciate it. However, I still recommend that you contact the developer of that application to be aware of the issue. Nevertheless, I am very positive that we do not have a bug for sharing a location, so I am interested in seeing if I can reproduce this issue.
