Push Notifications and VOIP call not working.
My App supports two services that is Push Notification for Alerts and a Voip Call feature whose notification also comes in the same way as of PushNotification but video rendering is done with GoogleWebRTC. The App was working perfectly fine but from past few months these services are not working.[ Nothing is changed in App and on the server side to push the notifications] Issues: VoIP (Video call) not working: I have apns certificate which is valid in today's date and stays with the backend Server. My server sends the payload notification to APNS but on iPhone am unable to receive it. I have checked the App registration part also and is able to receive the token for the same. Framework used are: PushKit, UserNotifications, GoogleWebRTC . I don't understand where is the gap, the backend triggers the APNS but there no response. Ports enabled on server are: 443, 5223, 2197, 2195, 2196. Similarly Push notification were also not working, So I tried to change it to register on Firebase for device registration token And did some coding at backend to send the notification to that device. It was working perfectly fine from last few weeks, but it suddenly stopped. I checked the JSON Payload and tried to send it through PostMan, in both it says 200 Success. And in Application end am waiting for breakpoint to hit in userNotificationCenter(_: , willPresent, completionHandler). What all I have checked: 1)My server to APNS server connectivity. 2)Verified the apns certificate. The certificate was created in October 2024, whose expiry is in Nov 2025 and it support both Sandbox and Production environment. 3)Checked required delegates are implemented in App. With the capability enable in it, is also sending registration token to backend. Kindly guide me where I can check in this flow. Thanks in Advance!

Provisioning Profile Missing Push Notification Entitlement (com.apple.developer.push-notifications) Despite Being Enabled
I'm running into an issue during the iOS build process for my app, and I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. ❗ The Problem When attempting to archive the app via EAS Build (Expo), the build fails with the following error: `Provisioning profile "HCF_AppStore_ProvisioningProfile" doesn't include the com.apple.developer.push-notifications entitlement. Profile qualification is using entitlement definitions that may be out of date. Connect to network to update.` What I’ve Already Done: Enabled Push Notifications capability for the App ID (com.rsmco.helpcreatefamilies) in the Apple Developer portal. Deleted and regenerated the App Store Provisioning Profile after enabling the capability. Confirmed the new profile is associated with the correct App ID and Distribution Certificate. Uploaded the new profile to EAS (Expo) and rebuilt the app. Yet the error persists during the Xcode archive step with Exit code 65. Additional Info: Provisioning Profile Name: HCF_AppStore_ProvisioningProfile App ID: com.rsmco.helpcreatefamilies Team: Reproductive Sciences Management Company, LLC Workflow: Expo EAS Build Capability causing issue: com.apple.developer.push-notifications

Push Notifications Error
Hi, I'm experiencing an issue with my app. I use Firebase as my server, and it is great. Still, there is one issue: when I send push notifications from my app to users, the users will get the notification if the app is open, but not when it is closed. I have tried many solutions to fix it, even asking AI, but the issue is still there. I would be happy to give you access to Firebase and the Xcode workspace, as I have no clue how to fix it.

iOS 18 Sending Duplicate Push Notifications
When sending a single push notification to iOS 18 devices users receive the same notification multiple times. This issue appears specific to iOS 18 and was not observed in previous iOS versions Our server logs confirm each notification is sent only once. Notification payloads include proper apns-id values for identification and no network issues detected on our side

[App Store Server Notifications] ONE_TIME_CHARGE production release...
Dear Apple! During WWDC24 you announced that ONE_TIME_CHARGE notification is available on the sandbox environment and will be available "it will be available in production later this year" - it's March 2025 and there is still no production release of this feature. Could you share some timeline and plans for when we can expect that feature deployed to production? Thanks in advance!

How can you tick between live activities?
I have been watching the following moment from wwdc (Design dynamic Live Activities): https://developer.apple.com/videos/play/wwdc2023/10194/?time=728 It suggest that you should 'tick' between multiple live activities of your app: When you want to show multiple sessions for your app going on at once, consider ticking between the display of them to continue to give users an eye on everything that’s going on. How can I tick between them? More specifically how can I do that when my app is in the background?

APNs "Discarded - Token Unregistered" showed an upward trend, from millions to tens of millions.
Dear Apple Engineer Recently we found that our push delivery rate has decreased. On the website "https://icloud.developer.apple.com/dashboard/notifications/teams/43Y657P48S/app/com.taobao.fleamarket", we found that starting from January 8, 2025, "Discarded - Token Unregistered" showed an upward trend, from millions to tens of millions. We have not found the reason, and hope you can help us. Team ID: 43Y657P48S Bundle ID: com.taobao.fleamarket Here are some failed tokens, in "Device Token Validator" The query is valid, but the user cannot receive the message: 56025f656cc3aa701898037f59e8d0cb937263ff5585cd1cec9ae661dcc15b19 5fbbd1e604d3662d7583e9377676f8fa276005145278d6dea04b4fc85a7b070e f0970602551f8d249d8f97960a74006ad78688b52fec6b0d19a585 207caff62e 9388fb40209c100afc2db728342f6fe86c7e34787a8fe4a92b73d2503c5286e0 a2819a4708462588b07452ed827d9afb03c343b586e70dcb67a9981f76295704 8949373cd43783fa3e23d38d55ee1fd72475b39f9c2d2fedca3ecb925b094240 Best Regards!

Can I listen to user choice when asked for update permissions on Live Activity?
We would like to better understand the discrepancy between a Push To Start and the subsequent Updates where I see a number of recipients drop greatly. Our assumption is that this is a result of the end user not clicking the "Allow" prompt when a push to start widget is shown on the screen for the first time, but we currently do not have a way to listen to the user's choice when prompted. Is there any way of tapping into this, to determine if this is in fact where the variance is coming from, or if there is actually just a problem with the request to retrieve the update token from our end?

APNs Feedback Service Domain Unavailable
The APNs Feedback Service domain “feedback.push.apple.com” was deprecated on March 31, 2021, and became unavailable after August 2025 due to domain name resolution failures. Will this feedback service become available again in the future? Also, is it possible to use the APNs Feedback Service with a domain different from “feedback.push.apple.com”?

APNs Notifications Always Failing – 0-Byte Response
Hello, We are currently facing a persistent issue where Apple Push Notifications (APNs) are no longer being delivered to devices. This is not an intermittent problem — push notifications have completely stopped working. We are using PushSharp.Apple (Version 4.0.10.0) to send the notifications. Current Behavior (Failing): Every notification request appears to be processed successfully from the server side. However, the APNs client receives a 0-byte response, and the server closes the connection. Devices do not receive the notifications at all. Logs from Current (Failing) State: APNS-Client[1]: Connected (Batch ID=1) APNS-Client[1]: Sent Batch, waiting for possible response... APNS-Client[1]: Received 0 bytes response... APNS-Client[1]: Server Closed Connection... APNS-Client[1]: Disconnected (Batch ID=1) For Reference – Successful Log From Earlier (When Notifications Worked): APNS-Client[1]: Connected (Batch ID=1) APNS-Client[1]: Sent Batch, waiting for possible response... APNS-Client[1]: Received -1 bytes response... Push Notification Successfully Sent to Device Any help, suggestions, or experience with similar issues would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

Questions for AlarmKit
We are so interested in AlarmKit which is presented at WWDC25. While we planning our app using AlarmKit, We had a few questions come to mind and were hoping you could provide some clarity. Please excuse the rather long list of questions, as we don't currently have a device available to test these features ourselves. System Actions Related Is there a limit to the number of alarms that can be scheduled using AlarmKit? Are alarms scheduled with AlarmKit persistent across device reboots? When an alarm is dismissed (either by swiping or pressing the power button), can our app detect this action and execute code in response? Can we control the behavior of the physical Lock Screen buttons when an AlarmKit alarm is active, for instance, to trigger a snooze action? Does AlarmKit function correctly during Do Not Disturb or Low Power Mode? What is the expected behavior when an alarm from our app (using AlarmKit) overlaps with an alarm from another app that also uses AlarmKit? Which one is going to get its priority? Thank you for your help. Sincerely

Does UNNotificationRequest have a 64-notification scheduling limit?
Hi, We have a simple calendar reminder app that uses UNNotificationRequest to schedule local notifications for user events. I’m wondering whether UNNotificationRequest has a system-imposed limit of 64 upcoming scheduled notifications, similar to the deprecated UILocalNotification. We’re asking because one of our users is not receiving recently scheduled reminders. Our current workflow is: We schedule notifications on app launch and when the app is about to quit. Before scheduling, we call removeAllPendingNotificationRequests(). We then fetch the 64 nearest upcoming events and schedule them using UNUserNotificationCenter.current().add(...). This approach works fine during our testing, but we’re unsure what might be causing the issue for some users. Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks!

getDeliveredNotifications does not return notifications triggered by UNLocationNotificationTrigger
I am trying to retrieve delivered notifications using UNUserNotificationCenter.getDeliveredNotifications(completionHandler:), but I have encountered an issue: Notifications triggered by UNTimeIntervalNotificationTrigger or UNCalendarNotificationTrigger appear in the delivered list. However, notifications triggered by UNLocationNotificationTrigger do not appear in the list. Here is the code I use to fetch delivered notifications: UNUserNotificationCenter.current().getDeliveredNotifications { notifications in for notification in notifications { print("Received notification: \(notification.request.identifier)") } } The notification is scheduled as follows: let center = UNUserNotificationCenter.current() let content = UNMutableNotificationContent() content.title = "Test Notification" content.body = "This is a location-based notification." content.sound = .default let coordinate = CLLocationCoordinate2D(latitude: 37.7749, longitude: -122.4194) // Example coordinates let region = CLCircularRegion(center: coordinate, radius: 100, identifier: "TestRegion") region.notifyOnEntry = true region.notifyOnExit = false let trigger = UNLocationNotificationTrigger(region: region, repeats: false) let request = UNNotificationRequest(identifier: "LocationTest", content: content, trigger: trigger) center.add(request) { error in if let error = error { print("Error adding notification: \(error.localizedDescription)") } } Why does getDeliveredNotifications not return notifications that were triggered using UNLocationNotificationTrigger? How can I retrieve such notifications after they have been delivered?

Timestamp with 410 error code
Docs mention the following about the timestamp field returned by APNs: "The time, represented in milliseconds since Epoch, at which APNs confirmed the token was no longer valid for the topic. This key is included only when the error in the :status field is 410." We would like to clarify whether this timestamp is subject to the fuzzy schedule or whether it represent the accurate time of when APNs knew that the token became invalid? We understand that using 410 for tracking purposes is off label. However we still would like to have the most accurate information in regards to when token became invalid. This will help us debug user issues better in cases when they re-install, uninstall, change permission settings, etc.

React Native iOS - Notification Service Extension Not Working
I've added a Notification Service Extension as a target to my React Native iOS app following Apple's official documentation. After completing all the setup steps as outlined in the documentation, the notification titles remain unchanged - notifications are arriving without any modifications, suggesting the extension isn't functioning properly.Testing Details: Sending notifications via Apple Push Notification Console Tested on iPhone 16 Pro Max (physical device) Tested on iPhone 15 Pro simulator Both show the same issue - no title modifications The extension appears to not be executing at all. Has anyone encountered similar issues with Notification Service Extensions in React Native projects, or can suggest troubleshooting steps to verify the extension is properly configured and running?

RESCIND_CONSENT notification not delivered in Sandbox environment
I am currently testing the Declared Age Range / Parental Consent flow in the Sandbox environment, and I am experiencing an issue where the RESCIND_CONSENT App Store Server Notification is not being delivered to my server. 🔍 Test Environment iOS version: iOS 26.2 (Sandbox environment) App Store Server Notifications: Sandbox environment 🔄 Test Scenario App Settings > Developer > Sign in with a Sandbox account Launch the app In App Settings > Developer > Sandbox Account > Management > Revoke App Consent, enter the app’s Bundle ID, tap the Revoke Consent button, and confirm that the revocation completion popup message is displayed Check whether App Store Server Notifications are received by the server Confirm that the RESCIND_CONSENT notification is not received by the server ✅ Expected Result The App Store Server sends a RESCIND_CONSENT notification to the Sandbox endpoint The notification payload includes appTransactionId The server can block app access based on the corresponding appTransactionId ❌ Actual Result No RESCIND_CONSENT notification is received in the Sandbox environment ❓ Questions Is this behavior an intended limitation of the Sandbox environment, or is it a known issue or bug? Is it possible that RESCIND_CONSENT notifications will only be delivered starting January 1, 2026? Additionally, when a RESCIND_CONSENT server notification is received, I currently update my database with the appTransactionId and the registration date. When a minor attempts to access the app, I check the latest appTransactionId status, and if the most recent state indicates consent has been revoked, I block app access and prompt the user to request parental consent again using PermissionKit.
