ApplePay: Flexible payments/scheduling
On Applepay's docs it talks about the ability to do "flexible" payments and scheduling for future purchases. We need to be able to make only a single approval of an Apple payment for multiple submissions later on. Think, deferred payments at an arbitrary schedule without presenting the ApplePay dialog each and every time. The docs suggest that may be possible, but are maddeningly vague on how to do that. Is it possible or not? Can we store an approved merchant's token for example and leverage that for future transactions?

Apple Pay Signature Validation Fails
I'm currently integrating Apple Pay with my payment provider, and I'm encountering a signature validation error during the payment flow. Here's the setup: I’ve verified that my Merchant Certificate is valid, and I'm able to initialize the Apple Pay session without any issues. Also this curl works fine The Payment Processing Certificate was created by my PSP. PSP claims that the payment token signature is invalid during the transaction phase, which prevents payment completion. The parsed signature starts like this 0:d=0 hl=2 l=inf cons: SEQUENCE 2:d=1 hl=2 l= 9 prim: OBJECT :pkcs7-signedData 13:d=1 hl=2 l=inf cons: cont [ 0 ] 15:d=2 hl=2 l=inf cons: SEQUENCE 17:d=3 hl=2 l= 1 prim: INTEGER :01 20:d=3 hl=2 l= 13 cons: SET 22:d=4 hl=2 l= 11 cons: SEQUENCE 24:d=5 hl=2 l= 9 prim: OBJECT :sha256 35:d=3 hl=2 l=inf cons: SEQUENCE 37:d=4 hl=2 l= 9 prim: OBJECT :pkcs7-data 48:d=4 hl=2 l= 0 prim: EOC 50:d=3 hl=2 l=inf cons: cont [ 0 ] 52:d=4 hl=4 l= 995 cons: SEQUENCE 56:d=5 hl=4 l= 904 cons: SEQUENCE 60:d=6 hl=2 l= 3 cons: cont [ 0 ] 62:d=7 hl=2 l= 1 prim: INTEGER :02 65:d=6 hl=2 l= 8 prim: INTEGER :16634C8B0E305717 75:d=6 hl=2 l= 10 cons: SEQUENCE 77:d=7 hl=2 l= 8 prim: OBJECT :ecdsa-with-SHA256 87:d=6 hl=2 l= 122 cons: SEQUENCE 89:d=7 hl=2 l= 46 cons: SET 91:d=8 hl=2 l= 44 cons: SEQUENCE 93:d=9 hl=2 l= 3 prim: OBJECT :commonName 98:d=9 hl=2 l= 37 prim: UTF8STRING :Apple Application Integration CA - G3 I'm looking for guidance on what could be causing this signature failure. Does anyone know what else I can check regarding the merchant or payment processing certificates, private keys, or key usage that might cause Apple Pay signature validation to fail, even if the session initializes successfully? Domains are also verified. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Can I ask user to share his/her email id while doing
We sell magazines through a third party app platform called Pocketmags and our website. The magazines have Print, Digital and Combo options available for purchase. Also, this third party app provides the platform to read the digital version of the magazines. Once a user buys a subscription on the website, he/she receives the email with the login information on PocketMags, where he registers his login details and can start reading his subscription. With us, the customer shares his billing/shipping address along with their email id while they make payment. Now we have our own app where through which we want to sell these magazines and have to integrate In-App purchase for selling these digital subscriptions. How do we send the 3rd party subscription access details on email to the user if they do in app purchase?

Unknown Error Occurring During Sandbox Purchase Testing
We are experiencing an Unknown Error (error code 0) when testing purchases in the Apple Sandbox environment. The error does not occur every time, but it fails with an Unknown Error in approximately 8 out of 20 attempts. Due to this issue, our app is failing to pass Apple’s review. Issue Details This issue only occurs in the Apple Sandbox environment. After attempting a purchase, the Apple payment API returns SKPaymentTransaction Unknown Error. Returned error code: SKErrorUnknown (error.code 0). This problem is preventing us from conducting proper payment tests and getting approval from Apple. Would it be possible to receive support or any solutions for this issue?

Incoming call notifications problems
Good day We developed a simple swift code to make the device ringing when a certain type of notifications arrives from our backend. This is the code: let phoneNumber = CXHandle(type: .generic, value: (self.userInfoForPluginCall!["data"] as! [String:Any]) ["caller"] as! String) callUpdate.remoteHandle = phoneNumber let configuration = CXProviderConfiguration(localizedName: "Trec Conf") configuration.maximumCallGroups = 1 configuration.maximumCallsPerCallGroup = 1 configuration.supportsVideo = false configuration.supportedHandleTypes = [.generic] configuration.iconTemplateImageData = UIImage(named: "callkit-icon")?.pngData() let callProvider = CXProvider(configuration: configuration) callProvider.setDelegate(self, queue: nil) callProvider.reportNewIncomingCall(with: callUUID!, update: callUpdate, completion: {error in}) We are noticing some problems on the call screen: on certain devices (iOS 18.4RC) the normal call screen appears and the user can answer or decline the call, on other devices (iOS 18.3, especially with dynamic island) only a phone icon appears in the upper right corner and no possibility to answer or deny call. Any idea on why we are encountering that behavior? Thanks

Duplicate In-App Order with two Different Transaction ID
User Initiated a Single Consumable Purchase but Was Charged Twice A user initiated a single in-app purchase for a consumable item, but they were charged twice. Both transactions have the same purchase token. Additional details: After the user successfully completed the in-app purchase, the completeTransactions callback was triggered again. This was called at app launch using SwiftyStoreKit.completeTransactions to finish any pending transactions. Could this be causing the duplicate charge? Any insights would be appreciated.

CardSession error handling with respond method
Hello, in the sample code found in the Apple CardSession documentation, there are commented line in the APDU respond method: case .received(let cardAPDU): do { /// Call handler to process received input and produce a response. let responseAPDU = ProcessAPDU(cardAPDU.payload) try await cardAPDU.respond(response: responseAPDU) } catch { /// Handle the error from respond(response:). If the error is /// CardSession.Error.transmissionError, then retry by calling /// CardSession.APDU.respond(response:) again. } in the catch part, it says that we should handle the error from respond and retry in case of transmission error, how can we achieve that ? How can we check the error ? Could you give a sample code for that ? best regards

Gathering Required Information for Troubleshooting Tap to Pay on iPhone
While troubleshooting Tap to Pay on iPhone, it is essential that the developer is able to collect logs on their device and check those logs for error messages. This is also essential when reporting issues to Apple. To gather the required data for your own debugging as well as reporting issues, please perform the following steps on the test device: Install the Tap to Pay profile on your iPhone. Reproduce the issue and make a note of the timestamp when the issue occurred, while optionally capturing screenshots or video. Gather a sysdiagnose on the same iPhone. Create a Feedback Assistant report with the following information: The bundle ID The serial number of the device. For iOS, open Settings > General > About (tap and hold to copy). The SEID (Secure Element Identifier) of the device, represented as a HEX encoded string. For iOS, open Settings > General > About > SEID (tap and hold to copy). The sysdiagnose gathered after reproducing the issue. The timestamp (including timezone) of when the issue was reproduced. Screenshots or videos of errors and unexpected behaviors (optional). Submitting Your Feedback After your submission to Feedback Assistant is complete, please respond to your post with the Feedback ID. Once received, I can begin my investigation and determine if this issue is caused by an error within your app, a configuration issue within your developer account, app configuration, or an underlying system bug. SwiftData shared across apps?
The stuff I've found by searching has confused me, so hopefully someone can help simplify it for me? I have an app (I use it for logging which books I've given away), and I could either add a bunch of things to the app, or I could have another app (possibly a CLI tool) to generate some reports I'd like.

subscriptionGroupLookups API returns 404 - No LookUp Key assigned to my subscription group
Hello, I'm encountering an issue when trying to use the subscriptionGroupLookups endpoint in the App Store Connect API. Despite having the correct setup, I continue to receive a 404 NOT FOUND error when making requests to: GET https://api.appstoreconnect.apple.com/v1/subscriptionGroupLookups Here is the current state of my environment: I am the Account Holder of the App Store Connect account The App Store Connect API key has been successfully created I have the correct Key ID, Issuer ID, and .p8 private key I can authenticate and access the apps and subscriptionGroups endpoints However, the subscriptionGroupLookups endpoint always returns: { "errors": [ { "status": "404", "code": "NOT_FOUND", "title": "The specified resource does not exist" } ] } I suspect that LookUp Keys (UUIDs) have not been assigned to our subscription groups, even though they were created and are active in App Store Connect. There is no “Request Access” button visible under the Integrations tab (as mentioned in Apple support instructions), and my keys appear under “App Store Connect API” > “Keys” as active. Questions: How can I ensure that LookUp Keys are assigned to my subscription groups? Is there a way to trigger this manually or via support? Has anyone successfully resolved this? Any advice or experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Issue with UPI IAP Transactions Stuck in Pending State and No Rewards Granted
Hi everyone, We’ve encountered an issue in some of our games where IAP purchases made using UPI are going into a pending state. Since these purchases are for consumable items, the rewards are not granted at the time of purchase. Even after the transactions are eventually confirmed, the rewards still aren't received. We tested this with two separate UPI transactions, and both resulted in the same pending state issue. Interestingly, when we tried making a purchase using Apple Wallet afterward, the transaction completed successfully on the first attempt, without any pending state. This issue seems specific to UPI transactions. Could anyone help us understand why this is happening or if there’s a recommended way to handle such cases? Thanks in advance!

Open child windows for a document in a document based SwiftData app
In a document based SwiftData app for macOS, how do you go about opening a (modal) child window connected to the ModelContainer of the currently open document? Using .sheet() does not really result in a good UX, as the appearing view lacks the standard window toolbar. Using a separate WindowGroup with an argument would achieve the desired UX. However, as WindowGroup arguments need to be Hashable and Codable, there is no way to pass a ModelContainer or a ModelContext there: WindowGroup(id: "myWindowGroup", for: MyWindowGroupArguments.self) { $args in ViewThatOpensInAWindow(args: args) } Is there any other way?

Proper way to create an AppleEvent record descriptor from NSDictionary
When using NSScriptCommand, is there any way to create an NSAppleEventDescriptor from an NSDictionary with arbitrary keys without using keyASUserRecordFields? Am I correct in thinking that this constant is deprecated? I ask because there is still active documentation using it. Is there another way to return a record where the keys aren't known at compile-time?

Pencilkit custom pen
I want to create a brush similar to a fountain pen, with a three-dimensional feel to the strokes and a distinct tip. Alternatively, is it possible to achieve this by modifying the configuration parameters of a fountain pen brush?
