Unusually Long "Waiting for Review" Times This Week - Anyone Else?

Last week I sent a Mac and iOS set of builds to TestFlight...they approved the iOS in 24 hours or less, but it took them 3 days on the Mac. They rejected my Mac app (rightly so lol). I sent the fix very late in the evening on the 15th and I have not yet seen a review just yet. I suspect there are less reviewers for Mac.

My app has been stuck in TestFlight review for over 2 days now. Iv'e never had it take so long. Usually they're approved in under an hour.

Update: My first app resubmitted on 9th Feb 2026 finally moved to 'In Review' after 15 calendar days (11 business days). I received feedback just six minutes later. It seems a current backlog is causing longer, more typical wait times depending on how the app is routed.🙏

I submitted my app on 11th Feb 2026, still waiting for review. I sent 5 different request to support and 1 post in the forum and finally I got a feedback. They are just saying 'be patient'

Same here, submitted my app on 8th Feb 2026 days later they found a reason to request more information about the functionality which was there since v1.0 and they approved 4 versions prior to this update and since then I am still waiting. Sent several mails and called them directly but no success. Still waiting for my update to be reviewed.

Yes, same here. Submitted TestFlight external test (beta) app builds on Feb 09. The macOS build was approved Feb 11. The iOS build is still waiting for review. I upped the build number once, no dice. I requested a support ticket (email), no response. I had them call me. To their credit they called immediately. Explained the situation. The lady said she sent an 'expedite review request' to the review team. As a first time indie developer (first app), I am so excited to get my creation out there, and so distressed at this friction before I can even have beta testers test it. 24 hours after the alleged 'expedited review request', still waiting.

I have had an app in waiting for review for almost 10 days. I also have a TestFlight build of another app that’s been in review for 4 days. the test flight delay is nuts.

My app has been in "waiting for review" status for almost a month. Have sent 3 emails with no response and talked to a rep on the phone 2 weeks ago that said they would expedite it. Still no change.

My app was submitted and rejected a couple times. My last submission was on the 7th, I’m still waiting for review. I’ve had support send 4 emails, I have made an expedite request have also canceled and resubmitted.

Same deal with support, they just fire off an email and can’t offer any information. We’ve been waiting for this in order to launch our new company 😔

Has been exactly 1 month today for Waiting for Review. sent emails. update check and no feedback from apple. other stores are able to review the app within a day. unacceptavble..

Is this only for independent devs or even big corps are having this issue?

Independent devs are still paying customers. The issue seems to have started in February, judging from most posts on these forums. For the sake of their reputation, the hope is they'll fix this issue soon. Or they'll set the expectations correctly, that it now just takes longer.

My ios version was reviewed at about teh 36 hour mark, and approved at about the 40 hour mark. However my MacOS version (of the same app) is still waiting for review at the 36 hour mark. AppID 6759136403 I believe mac version take longer but I thought I would post here just to make sure there is not an issue.

Odd because for me it's the opposite - the macOS build was approved in 36 hours and the iOS build is waiting for 18 days lol.
