Unusually Long "Waiting for Review" Times This Week - Anyone Else?
Hello everyone, I’m currently experiencing unusually long wait times for app reviews and wanted to check if others are seeing similar delays this week. Here is the current status of my submissions: App Store Update: Stuck in "Waiting for Review" much longer than the typical 24–48 hour window. New Version: A newly submitted version also seems to be stalled in the initial phase. TestFlight Processing: Even TestFlight builds are taking longer than usual to process. Expedited Review: I've attempted an expedited review request and direct communication, but the status remains unchanged so far. What’s confusing is that I see other apps in the same category receiving updates, so I’m unsure if this is a localized technical glitch or a broader delay affecting a specific group of developers. I’m not looking to escalate anything just yet; I’m simply trying to gauge if this is a widespread issue at the moment. I would greatly appreciate any insights into your recent experiences or if you've noticed similar patterns over the last few days. Thanks in advance, and good luck to everyone with pending submissions! 🙂

App Stuck in “Waiting for Review” Since February 4, 2026 – No Status Update
Hello everyone, My app has been in “Waiting for Review” status since February 4, 2026, and there has been no progress or update since then. Normally, my previous submissions were reviewed within a few days, but this time it has been significantly delayed. There are no messages in the Resolution Center, and I have not received any communication from the App Review team. Has anyone else experienced similar delays recently? Is there anything I can do to follow up or escalate this review? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

App Stuck in "Waiting for Review" Since February 10, 2026 & No Response from Support
Hello everyone, I’m facing an unusually long app review delay and would appreciate any insight from the community. My app has been stuck in the "Waiting for Review" status since February 10, 2026, with no updates or feedback. App details: App ID: 6756574744 Case Number: 102824473424 During this time, I have: Submitted several support requests Filed multiple expedited review requests Tried contacting through email and the support section Attempted to follow up on the case status Despite all of these efforts, I have not received any response, acknowledgment, or update regarding its review progress. I understand that review times can vary, and delays sometimes happen. What concerns me more is the complete lack of communication. At this point, it feels like the app might be stuck in the queue. Has anyone else experienced long "Waiting for Review" times recently? Is there anything else I can do to get clarification or make sure the submission is not blocked for some reason? Thanks in advance for any insight!

App distributed but IAP - is waiting for review.
Hi, My app VITTRA has been approved and is live on the App Store. also i have already pushed even another update …However, I submitted two in-app purchases along with the app: 1. VITTRA Pro (Non-Consumable) — Status: “In Review” 2. AI Scan Pack (Consumable) — Status: “Waiting for Review” The app binary was approved and distributed, but the IAPs are still under review. My app’s core functionality depends on these purchases being available to users. A few questions: 1. Is it normal for IAPs to remain in review after the app itself has been approved and distributed? 2. Is there an expected timeline for IAP reviews when submitted alongside a new app? 3. Is there anything I can do to expedite the process, or should I just wait? Any guidance would be appreciated. Its a real frustrating situation and there is not a single response from the support. Thanks!

Question about Unlisted App direct link behavior
Hello, I am planning to distribute my iOS app as an Unlisted App. I would like to confirm the following: If users access the standard App Store URL in the format below: https://apps.apple.com/app/idXXXXXXXXXX Will users be able to reach the Unlisted app’s App Store product page via this URL? Or is the specific Unlisted distribution link generated by App Store Connect required for access? My goal is to ensure that in-app update guidance directs users to the correct App Store page. Thank you for your support.

Customer reviews missing app version and lastModified in API
The App Store Connect API specification states that a customer review includes a rating, a title, a body, a reviewer nickname, a creation date, a territory and a response. Unfortunately, it does not provide information on the app version that was reviewed or whether it was edited after a response was posted (or at least when it was last updated). In order to retrieve all reviews including the app version, you first need to fetch all versions of an app, and then fetch all reviews per version. This results in a lot of unnecessary requests, particularly when there are very few to no reviews for a version. Furthermore, determining if or when a review has been updated by a customer is simply not possible via the API. As these informations are available in the App Store Connect UI for all reviews, I would appreciate it if they could be added to the API as well.

Waiting for review 16 days
I am out of my strengths, out of will. Its been over 16 days when i posted my app to review. Apple doesnt react to email nor speed-up procedure requests. Its all pointless. Sorry if i sound too much dramatic but I dont see it other way. Apple doesnt reviews apps anymore. Maybe its because AI apps overflow or something else but truth is that i have seen a lot people experience the same. App doesnt have any crazy permissions nor crazy features. Small MVP app and still its waiting. Have this happened to you ?

Your first subscription must be submitted with a new app version
I have been submitting the app multiple times, and I keep getting rejected on Guideline 2.1 - Performance. Specifically, the in-app purchase is not available and the app is unresponsive when we tap the Upgrade button. I have tested the wiring and it works, the issue is that the subscriptions are not approved because: "Your first subscription must be submitted with a new app version. Create your subscription, then select it from the app’s In-App Purchases and Subscriptions section on the version page before submitting the version to App Review." So I can't get the subscriptions approved without the app approved, but I can't get the app approved without the update option to work. I seem to be stuck in a loop. Please assist.

I have already send emails multiple times but yet i haven't received any update. Could you please check this?, We were expecting our app to launch on 1st January 2026 but it's the end of February now still app is not getting reviews properly also the issues which I had mentioned to support agents are not solved yet. This is impacting our release timeline. Could you please assist or escalate this matter? Appreciate your support. 🙏 #iOSDev #AppStoreConnect #AppleDeveloper

Any updates on the App Review situation?
I realize there are already several posts here about the unusually long review times for app submissions. There are some replies from Apple stating that they are looking into it or that specific issues have been resolved, but the problem persists and no one seems to understand what is actually happening or what can be done to improve the situation. I have been experiencing the same issue over the past six weeks. My app (submission ID: 75aed892-ee07-49e1-b62b-fdd54f1b04f8) was rejected because the reviewer stated that it needed “citations, such as links to resources.” I therefore added citations with functional links to online resources directly on the page where the claims were made, yet my app was rejected again with exactly the same copy-and-paste feedback. I then asked for clarification, but my question has remained unanswered for a week. There seems to be a fundamental problem in the App Store review process. For me, it has become a cumbersome issue, as the unexpectedly long response times are causing me to miss deadlines with my customers. We fix and resubmit our app within minutes, literally, but every time we have to wait weeks for the next reply from Apple. Should we pause submissions for a while and focus on other activities, and manage expectations with our customers accordingly? Or is this a temporary situation that is likely to improve soon? Any insights or tips would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Rejected under Guideline 3.1.1 for Partner Codes (B2B/Enterprise Content) – Seeking advice on Appeal
Hi everyone, I’m seeking some advice on a recurring rejection for our app, tassie., regarding Guideline 3.1.1 (In-App Purchase). The Situation: Our app offers walking tours. While we sell public tours via In-App Purchases (which works perfectly), we also create bespoke, private tours for corporate clients (e.g., a specific company teambuilding event or a private anniversary tour). These tours contain company-specific info and are not available for sale to the general public. The Issue: We use "Partner Codes" (Access Codes) to allow employees of these companies to unlock their private tours. Apple keeps rejecting us under 3.1.1, claiming we are bypassing the IAP system. Our Argument: We believe this falls under Guideline 3.1.3(c) (Enterprise Users). The content is bespoke and created for a specific organization. The end-user (the employee) does not pay for this content; it is a B2B transaction between us and the corporation. The content is not relevant to the general public and therefore not suitable for the public IAP storefront. The Question: Has anyone successfully navigated this? We’ve tried explaining the B2B nature in the App Review notes, but the reviewers seem to hit a wall as soon as they see an "input field" for a code. Should we move the "Partner Code" field deeper into the Profile/Settings to distance it from the Shop? Is there a specific way to document the "Bespoke" nature of the content to satisfy the reviewers? Would an Appeal be the best route, or should we request a phone call (which we are currently scheduled for)? Any insights or experiences with Guideline 3.1.3(c) would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance, Danique | tassie.

Digital Services Act: In Review for 14 days already.
Hi all, I was wondering if someone could provide more information about the Digital Services Act review process. I haven’t been able to find any details online, and I haven’t received a response to my support requests (it has been 9 days so far). I submitted the requested Digital Services Act information on February 27, but I haven’t received any update or automated confirmation email. The request is still visible under business agreements in my Apple Store Connect account. Does anyone know how long this review typically takes? Or whether I should contact support through a different channel? Thank you in advance!

Extended “Waiting for Review” & No Communication Despite Multiple Contact Attempts
Hello, I would like to formally raise a concern regarding an ongoing lack of communication in the review process. Two of my applications have been in the “Waiting for Review” stage for an unusually extended period. During this time, I have: • Sent multiple support emails • Submitted an expedited review request • Attempted to follow up through official channels Despite these efforts, I have not received a single response or status update. I understand that review timelines can fluctuate depending on workload and complexity. However, prolonged silence without acknowledgment creates uncertainty and directly impacts release planning, user acquisition strategy, and overall operational decisions. This is not a complaint about review duration alone. It is primarily about the absence of communication. Even a brief confirmation or estimated timeline would significantly improve the situation. I respectfully request clarification on the status of these submissions and the reason for the continued “Waiting for Review” state. I sincerely hope this matter can be resolved promptly. Thank you for your time. Best regards, Berkay

Your first subscription must be submitted with a new app version
I have been submitting the app multiple times and I keep getting rejected for: Guideline 2.1 - Performance - App Completeness Specifically, the in-app purchase is not available and the app is unresponsive when we tap the Upgrade button. I feel like I am stuck in a circle since it is showing me the pricing is unavailalbe on my subscription page. I have checked and it is wired correctly and works in the google play store. The issue is that my subriptions are not approved yet. But I can't get my subscriptions approved without the app being approved for the first time. So the Upgrade button cannot work, since the subscriptions are not approved, and they can't be approved without the app being approved. I can't test it in the sandbox, since the application is not approved. Anyone know what to do with this issue?

Cannot download approved app via promo code
I just had an app approved and pending developer release. As part of my release checks, I always download the app using a promo code (even for free apps). This time, on both iOS and macOS, redeeming a promo code for the respective builds gives this error: Unable to Redeem. This content is incompatible with the current software on this device. Update your device to the latest software version and try again. The app targets iOS 26.0 and macOS 26.0, and my devices are on the latest releases. Has anything changed with promo code redemption for approved apps? I typically use promo codes for updates, but have not released a new app in a while.

Promo Code for Approved, but Unreleased App Fails
I have an app in Pending Developer Release status and have generated a promo to test app on final time before release. After entering promo code in App Store app, I get the following error: Unable to Redeem "This content is incompatible with the current software on this device. Update you device to the latest software version and try again." The device in question has been running TestFlight and Xcode builds without issue. The device is an iPhone 14 Pro running 18.6. App is built with minimum deployment of 18.0.

My App stuck in "Waiting for Review" over week
Hello everyone, My app (ID: 6758039899) was submitted on Feb 17, 2026, and has been stuck in "Waiting for Review" status for over 8 days. I contacted Developer Support (case #20000108234172) and received confirmation that it's proceeding normally, but no update since. On average, Apple reviews 90 percent of apps within 24 hours. However, there might be cases that need more review time, but mine exceeds a week. Any recent experiences with long queues? Thanks!
