On recent versions of macOS (including current betas), when enabling Internet Sharing from Ethernet to Wi-Fi, the configured WPA2/WPA3 password is ignored and the shared network is broadcast as an open (unsecured) network. Steps to Reproduce: Connect Mac to Ethernet via USB/LAN adapter Go to System Settings > General > Sharing > Internet Sharing Set up Wi-Fi options with a valid WPA2/WPA3 password Enable Internet Sharing Expected Behavior: Devices should see a password-protected Wi-Fi network with a lock icon and require authentication. Actual Behavior: The network appears unsecured (no lock icon) Devices like iPhone connect without entering a password This can be verified immediately from iOS Wi-Fi settings Additional Notes: Reproducible across macOS 15.5 RC and 16.0,26.0 Developer Beta Feedback has been submitted via Feedback Assistant multiple times This is a serious security risk if used in public or shared environments Has anyone else experienced this? Hi, I made backup as Apple suggested. Then I updated to iOS 26 developer beta. Because it was slow and laggy I downgraded back to 18.5 with iTunes on MacBook. After restoring backup I cannot get history (recent calls) working. I tried to change region, airplane mode, reset network settings, change date and time, reboot (3x). Basically I guess I tried everything I cloud find online. Still call history doesn't work. Is there any fix for this? Before restoring backup I reinstalled everything in restore mode.

I am trying to connect to my openbsd server. The command works over local network (I am identified by public key) but fails over remote network. In the actual development, I found that I could not complete the setting of my icloud+ customised email domain name SMTP. I tried to configure the SMTP of iCloud custom email according to Apple's document (https://support.apple.com/en-us/102525) but the error I looked through Apple's support file, but I didn't find the specific configuration of iCloud + customised email SMTP.

I upgraded my macOS to 13.7.5 and since then I cannot open Adobe InDesing on my iMac. I contacted Adobe Support to assist with the issue and they couldn't find any solution from their side. Probably the update is not compatible? Is there a way I can solve this issue? Or remove the beta version from my system?

I have been trying since January to get myself enrolled in the Apple Developer program. I’ve called customer support, I’ve sent emails, I’ve plead and begged and no avail. First I registered and I was not aware there would be such a steep price point. I couldn’t afford it so I got these emails — then later when I try to re-enroll, it asks me to verify my identity, which I did with my state issued id. So it says I can’t continue. I email and ask why and get this back.. So I call and someone named Mallory who assures me she’s the highest point of escalation under Steve Jobs tells me there is nothing anyone can do, she can’t tell me why it’s not allowed but it’s just not and I’m screwed, then hangs up on me and sends this - and my most recent attempts to continue support just get met with a “We can’t cont your enrollment at this time for one or more reasons”. So I have decided to post every day, every where, as much as possible until someone from Apple corrects this. I can’t seem to get help otherwise.

I'm near my wit's end. My school district's developer application has been "pending" for nearly 4 months. Every time I call, which is every couple of weeks or so, I'm told the department reviewing the application cannot be contacted and that they will "escalate it." Apparently, this other department doesn't even have a phone number. Does anyone have any idea why it would be taking this long? They have all our documentation. Absolutely zero communication unless I call. PLEASE HELP!

I'm running IOS 18.5 on my iPhone 16 Pro Max. If I delete an email on my iPhone, it is still in the inbox on my iMac. If I delete an email on my iMac it is deleted from the inbox on my iPhone. Is this because of the Beta software on my phone?

I’m trying to register an Apple Developer Account for my company. I uploaded all the required documents, but my initial application was rejected, and I was asked to provide notarized translations of my documents. I translated them and submitted everything for review on April 1. After a week without a response, I contacted Apple Support. They replied that the documents had been received and were under review. However, as of today, April 24, my account is still under review. I’ve sent five follow-up emails to Support asking for a status update on my case, but I haven’t received any replies. Has anyone faced a similar situation and could suggest what I can do to get a status update and finally complete the registration? The last couple of days ago, I tried to taste iOS 26. It’s a really awesome experience as an iOS user. But there were some issues that appeared when I was playing the games. So I downgraded to iOS 18.5. My phone is 13, and I checked my model number and downloaded 18.5 firmware from Apple user's well-known website and carefully making the downgrading process. After hours later I already got back 18.5, and I confess, the user experience is very different between iOS 26 and 18.5. The main problem is there, when I make phone calls with my friends and I notice my recent call history is empty. So I try to fix it the ways from YouTube videos. It doesn’t work. I tried to change the region and restart my phone. It doesn’t work, and I tried to syns with iCloud also doesn’t work. If you are facing an issue like mine, please kindly share the experience and how to fix it! Kindly see the attached photos. The notification appears as shown, but when I check the recent calls, there is no data available.

Currently running 15.5 Beta 3 on a Mac Studio M4. I am unable to read/write to my Home folder from most of my applications. I receive an error basically saying I do not have access rights to the file/folder. If I go to the file directly and open it, it works. I have repaired disk permissions, checked the Sharing & Permissions settings via Get Info, and finally called Apple. Of course, since I am running the beta, the support was quite limited. I will add that I am also unable to open .dmgs that have been downloaded to my Downloads folder. I receive the "The disk image couldn’t be opened. The operation couldn’t be completed. Operation not permitted" error. If I copy the .dmg to another drive, I can open it from there.

m personal iPhone is managed by an Unauthorized and Unknown mdm management team, The profile isn’t showing up in VPN Settings and I can’t remove them from having Remote access and control over my Personal Device! I’ve SPENT MANY MONTHS TRYING TO GET SUPPORT VIA EMAILING APPLE DEVELOPER AND SPEAKING TO APPLE SUPPORT WHICH HAS BEEN EXTREMELY EXHAUSTING AND HUMILIATIN! I’ve resorted to contacting Internet crime websit, the federal trade commissio, Better business bureau and Consumer Affairs to file an online complaint against Apple for not complying with their Security and Privacy policy for consumers accounts! Because of this unauthorized and unknown mdm devi management profile I don’t have COMPLETE CONTROL OVER MY OWN IPHONE! !

With iOS 26.0 (23A5276f) I can’t make calls via Bluetooth on any device. Any workaround?
