iOS simulator triggers lots of "*** quit unexpectedly" alerts
Everytime when iOS simulator is launched I het a lot of repeated "*** quit unexpectedly" alerts. Where "***" is a mix of "managedappdistributiond","healthappd", and "findmylocated" Even after the simulator is launched I still het random "*** quit unexpectedly" alerts. Very annoying because the alerts deactivates the active window This is on an MacBook Pro M3 Max,, Xcode 15.2, Sonoma 14.2.1, it also happens with Xcode 15.1 A co developer (MacBook Pro M1 Max,Xcode 15.2, Sonoma 14.2.1) does not have the issue Any idea how I can prevent this from happening? Update Every mentioned service crash happens in libswiftCore.dylib at 0x1929f3938 assertionFailure(:_:file:line:flags:) + 248

Orphaned 9GB Simulator Runtime in /System/Library/AssetsV2 - Cannot Delete (SIP protected)
I have an orphaned asset folder taking up 9.13GB located at: /System/Library/AssetsV2/com_apple_MobileAsset_iOSSimulatorRuntime/c0d3fd05106683ba0b3680d4d1afec65f098d700.asset It contains SimulatorRuntimeAsset version 18.5 (Build 22F77). Active Version: My current Xcode setup is using version 26.2 (Build 23C54). I checked the plist files in the directory and found what seems to be the cause of the issue: The "Never Collected" Flag: The Info.plist inside the orphaned asset folder explicitly sets the garbage collection behavior to "NeverCollected": <key>__AssetDefaultGarbageCollectionBehavior</key> <string>NeverCollected</string> The Catalog Mismatch: The master catalog file (com_apple_MobileAsset_iOSSimulatorRuntime.xml) in the parent directory only lists the new version (26.2). Because the old version (18.5) is missing from this XML, Xcode and mobileassetd seem to have lost track of it entirely. What I Have Tried (All Failed) Xcode Components: The version 18.5 does not appear in Settings -> Components, so I cannot delete it via the GUI. Simctl: xcrun simctl list runtimes does not list this version. Running xcrun simctl runtime delete 22F77 fails with: "No runtime disk images or bundles found matching '22F77'." Manual Deletion: sudo rm -rf [path] fails with "Operation not permitted", presumably because /System/Library/AssetsV2 is SIP-protected. Third-party Tools: Apps like DevCleaner do not detect this runtime (likely because they only scan ~/Library or /Library, not /System/Library). Has anyone found a way to force the system (perhaps via mobileassetd or a specific xcrun flag) to re-evaluate this folder and respect a deletion request? I am trying to avoid booting into Recovery Mode just to delete a cache file. Any insights on how AssetsV2 handles these "orphaned" files would be appreciated.

Unable to download iOS simulator runtime 26.x on Xcode
Hi everyone, I'm experiencing a persistent issue for months now where I'm unable to download the iOS 26 simulator Runtime. I've tried reinstalling Xcode and also Xcode Beta but same issue. iOS 26 Simulator is also not on developers download page, so manual installation is impossible. And sadly I can't compile any code without having iOS 26 simulator installed. Anyone able to get passed this? Hardware: M1 Pro OS: Tahoe 26.1 Heres the error Download failed. Domain: DVTDownloadableErrorDomain Code: 41 User Info: { DVTErrorCreationDateKey = "2026-01-07 11:35:35 +0000"; } -- Download failed. Still No Response After Paying for My Developer Account
I paid for the developer account subscription on November 9, and as of now, the status is still pending. I’ve already contacted the support center for help more than three days ago, but I haven’t received any reply or even an acknowledgment email. How do they even operate? The delay is completely unreasonable. Has anyone else experienced the same thing?

Apple watch Xcode pairing & connection issues
I’m blocked debugging a watchOS app on a physical Apple Watch. The iPhone connects to Xcode normally (wired), but the Watch either fails to connect with a tunnel timeout or disappears entirely from Xcode after I unpaired it inside Devices & Simulators. Environment Mac: macOS 26.x (Apple Silicon Mac) Xcode: 26.2 iPhone: iOS 26.1 Apple Watch Ultra: watchOS 26.2 (build 23S303) Connection: iPhone connected to Mac via USB (trusted). Watch paired to iPhone and working normally in the Watch app. Issue A (when Watch is visible in Xcode) In Xcode → Window → Devices and Simulators, the Watch shows up but is not usable and fails to connect. Error: “Previous preparation error: A connection to this device could not be established.” “Timed out while attempting to establish tunnel using negotiated network parameters.” In some attempts the Watch shows “Capacity: Unknown” / limited details, and then fails during preparation. Issue B (after unpairing Watch in Xcode only) I unpaired/removed the Watch in Xcode (Devices & Simulators). I did not unpair the Watch from the iPhone. Now: iPhone appears in Xcode and works normally for builds. Watch is still paired to the iPhone and works normally. Watch no longer appears anywhere in Xcode Devices & Simulators (no paired watch section, no watch run destination). What I’ve tried Reboots of Mac, iPhone, Watch (multiple times) Watch unlocked, awake; iPhone unlocked and close to Watch Verified Watch is paired and connected in iPhone Watch app Developer Mode enabled on iPhone and Watch Wi-Fi and Bluetooth ON (Mac/iPhone/Watch), tried toggling both Tried on home Wi-Fi and also with iPhone hotspot (same result) Resetting trust prompts / reconnecting iPhone via USB, re-trusting Mac Apple Watch: “Clear Trusted Computers” Xcode: removing/re-adding devices; clearing derived data; restarting Xcode Watch Developer networking test: Responsiveness = Medium (430 RPM) Questions 1. Is this a known issue/regression with Xcode 26.2 + watchOS 26.2 tunneling (CoreDevice / devicectl)? 2. Is there an Apple-supported way to force Xcode to re-discover a paired Watch after it was removed from Xcode Devices & Simulators (without unpairing the Watch from the iPhone)? 3. Any recommended logs or diagnostic steps I should collect (Console logs, sysdiagnose, specific Xcode/CoreDevice logs) to include in a Feedback report? If helpful, I can provide the full error text from Xcode’s Devices window and any logs you recommend. Thank you in advance,

Swift Playgrounds macOS repeatedly asks “My App would like to access data from other apps”
Environment: Swift Playgrounds (macOS) SwiftUI App Preview macOS version: 26.2 (25C56) Issue: In Swift Playgrounds on macOS, the app repeatedly shows the system permission dialog: “My App would like to access data from other apps. Keeping app data separate makes it easier to manage your privacy and security.” Steps to Reproduce: Create a new SwiftUI app in Swift Playgrounds. Run the SwiftUI App Preview. When the permission dialog appears, click “Allow”. Expected Result: The permission should be granted once and persist, allowing the preview to continue normally. Actual Result: After clicking “Allow”, the SwiftUI App Preview crashes and restarts. When the preview restarts, the same permission dialog appears again. This repeats indefinitely, creating a loop. Notes: This occurs even when no explicit file system or inter-app data access code is written. The permission choice does not appear to persist between preview restarts. Question: Is this a known limitation of Swift Playgrounds sandboxing or SwiftUI App Preview? Is there an official workaround or recommended approach to avoid this behavior while using Swift Playgrounds?

Hello Team I tried to enroll using the Apple Developer app on both my Mac and my iPhone and I keep getting the "Unknown error" please try again popup. I'm on the latest macOS and iOS version, have everything in line to the requirements, but nothing seems to be working. Can someone guide me if there's something I've not done right?

I'm not able to download the p8 Private Key
I'm not able to download my Private key since Yesterday and I get the following error message when I click on "Download" Auth Key can only be downloaded once. This auth key has already been downloaded. I revoked all my existing keys and created new ones and I get the same error message. I tried all the mentioned solutions on this forum and StackOverflow like using Safari, turning off VPNs,removing spaces from Key name, using my iPhone, using a Mac, incognito/private mode on Windows Microsoft Edge, clicking done then pressing download after, right clicking on download Linked File as...nothing seems to work

Your case ID for this conversation is 102769512657.
Hi everyone, I’m unable to enable Xcode Cloud for any app on my account. At the final step of the Xcode workflow setup (“Confirm App on App Store Connect”), pressing Complete always returns: “ could not be added to Xcode Cloud. Authentication credentials are invalid.” This affects both existing apps and completely new test apps with fresh bundle IDs. What I’ve verified • I am Account Holder and Admin. • All agreements are accepted. • App creation, bundle ID registration, and certificate management work normally. • I’ve removed/re-added my Apple ID in Xcode and cleared all Xcode-* tokens from Keychain. • Test apps in clean Git repos reproduce the same error. Support I have already opened Case ID 102769512657 with Apple Developer Support, but I’m posting here in case others have seen this issue or know of additional steps to confirm the provisioning state.

Unable to download iOS 26 Beta 5 Simulator
Hello, I'm checking to see if anyone else is experiencing an issue downloading the latest beta simulator. When I try to download the iOS 26 beta 5 simulator in Xcode, the download fails instantly. There is no progress, just an immediate error with no message other than the code itself: DVTDownloadableErrorDomain Code: 41. I've already restarted both Xcode and the Mac multiple times. I have also tried downloading on different networks to rule out a firewall issue.

Hi There, I´m From Spain with an LLC Company in the USA. Under the name of my company, appear an option that ask me ... "Who is the Beneficial Owner? " You can choose between : Individual, Limited Liability - Disregarded Entity, Limited Liability - Partnership, Other... I choose Limited Liability - Disregarded Entity I m not sure if the form W-9 is the right for me because my other online business is about selling books on amazon and there the form that I m using is W8-BEN

Unable to access Certificates Identifiers & Profiles as an Admin in Apple Organization Developer Program Account
Hi all, I’m an Admin user in an Apple Developer Program (Organization) team, but I’m unable to access Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles (CIP) on developer.apple.com. I’d like to understand what permission is missing and where it should be enabled. Context Program type: Apple Developer Program (Organization) My role in App Store Connect: Admin I can access App Store Connect normally, but CIP resources on developer.apple.com are blocked. The Account Holder can access CIP normally. What I see (Problem) In the Apple Developer portal → Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles, I get: “Access Unavailable — You currently don't have access to this membership resource. Contact your team's Account Holder or an Admin.” In Xcode → Settings → Accounts → Team, the “Certificates, Identifiers, & Profiles” section shows a red error indicator and doesn’t load. Only my account is affected; the Account Holder is not. What we’ve tried / confirmed Membership is active (renewal date is valid) Signed out/in of Xcode and re-added my Apple ID Confirmed selecting the correct Organization team in Xcode / Developer portal Account Holder confirmed they can access CIP Questions For an Organization team, what exact permission(s) are required for a member to access Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles? Where is this access controlled — App Store Connect → Users and Access vs developer.apple.com → People? If Admin in App Store Connect is not sufficient, what additional role/setting is needed to grant CIP access?
