Hey,
so I wanted to pull from the Github project repository and XCode asked me login again. Forgot my password so I tried a wrong one and now it keeps asking for my Username and Access token, when I actually just want to login with my password. Doesn't let me choose between the too, not even when adding the account through preferences. Anyone know how to just login with password and the reason for this -pardon me- absolutely idiotic choice of not letting the user choose?

Is there an API to programmatically create a guide for iOS 14 Maps? I know third-parties are curating Guides. I'd like to programmatically create a guide.
After I accept the terms in and press the next button during the Apple Developer enrollment registration process as an individual I receive the following error message:
"We are unable to process your request. An unknown error occurred."
How can I resolve this issue?
We have developed an IOPCIFamily based custom KEXT to communicate with Thunderbolt interface storage device.
This KEXT is working fine with Apple machines with Intel CPUs in all types of machines (iMac, iMac Pro and MacBooks).
We tested this KEXT with Apple Silicon M1 machine where we are observing crash for the very first command we send to the Thunderbolt device.
We observed that there is difference in number of bits in Physical Address we use for preparing command PRPs.
In Intel machines we get 28-Bit Physical Address whereas in M1 we are getting 36-Bit address used for PRPs.
We use inTaskWithPhysicalMask api to allocate memory buffer we use for preparing command PRPs.
Below are the options we have used for this:
options: kIOMemoryPhysicallyContiguous | kIODirectionInOut
capacity: 16kb
physicalMask: 0xFFFFF000UL (We want 4kb aligned memory)
According to below documentation, we have to use inTaskWithPhysicalMask api to get memory below 4gb.

Some devices can only handle physical addresses that fit into 32 bits. To the extent that it is possible to use 64-bit addresses you should do so, but for these devices, you can either use IODMACommand or the initWithPhysicalMask method of IOBufferMemoryDescriptor to allocate a bounce buffer within the bottom 4 GB of physical memory.
So just want to know what's the difference between Intel and ARM64 architecture with respect to physical memory access.
Is there any difference between byte order for physical memory address..??

I have applied for Developer membership card and filled all the details including credit card details. After completion it has asked to wait till 48 hours. It's been more then 48 hours and i still haven't got any response , neither i was charged for membership fee. I am not sure what am i supposed to do in this case now.

G'day.
At my office the doors are locked with an NFC reader. We carry around a little NFC tag on our key chains which will read out a number and this then will open the door if the number matches a number in the database.
I am tired of carrying around the tag, people keep loosing it, forgetting it and it would be nice to open the door using a Phone - which we tend to always have on us.
So I used a credit card which is NFC enabled to readout the NFC information, added this number to the database and can now open doors using my credit card. This is pretty cool. If I forget my keys (most likely they will be on the desk but silly me left the desk without them), I may have my wallet with me.
Then I tried Wallet.app on my iPhone and select the same credit card. However the door doesn't open. When looking in the door software I noticed that the tags will always transmit the same number. So does my credit card. However Wallet.app will read out 4 readings (or maybe just one very long one) and they are always different. So I can not make them match with the door database.
Any ideas how to make this work? Can I give somehow wallet.app an NFC number which I can then add to my door database? Or how come the credit card and the very same one in wallet.app don't match?

We submitted a build to testflight and received a confirmation email it was successfully uploaded.
When we open testflight on our iPhone's (X, 6s) we get a message of
"Could not install appname"
"The requested app is not available or does not exist"
Where appname is the name of the app.
Its very confusing because I can see the build listed in testflight on my mobile device and can view it in iTunes connect.
I also can't install prior builds that had worked successfully when I try.
We have submitted our app as both iPhone and iPad compatible - we want to remove iPad, but can't find how to do that in the App Store Connect console - any ideas?

I'm currently using Swift to write an independent Apple Watch app for watchOS 7+. My app uses Location Services, and in case the user doesn't allow that at first, I'd like to have a button inside my watchOS app to send my user to the part of the Settings app (inside watchOS) where he can give the appropriate permissions for the app.
I know that in iOS/macOS you can use the openSettingsURLString string from UIApplication to do what I want, but it's not available in watchOS and I haven't found any equivalent resource inside the WKExtension class (normally the equivalent for UIApplication in the watchOS environment).
Does anyone know if there's any way to programatically open the Apple Watch Settings app from my watchOS app?
I'm asking since as far as I understand asking for Location permissions again would not work since the user has already refused to allow the permissions before, making the authorization status "denied".
I understand as well that there's the possibility of showing a modal and directing the user to go to Settings and allow the use of location services (as in "Please go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services > [AppName] to allow the use of location services") but I'd like if I could direct the user there instead as one might do in iOS.

I've encountered an issue where we need multiple domain associations with separate Apple Pay implementations.
Briefly, we have a /.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association already setup with Stripe, and now we need another, different version of the file to get setup with FreedomPay. FreedomPay insists this file represents a three-way relationship between all parties and I have no reason to disbelieve them.
I'm wondering if anyone has encountered this or if there is a standard procedure. I'm currently trying to find documentation on the exact way Apple Pay verification interacts with this file to see if we can produce it dynamically.
I noticing that Monterey defaults to the NSWindowToolbarStyleAutomatic / NSWindowToolbarStyleUnified toolbar style, which suppresses the "use Small Size" menu item and customization checkbox.
So I've set the window to use NSWindowToolbarStyleExpanded. However, the toolbar will no longer change to a smaller icon size, as it did in MacOS 10.14, 10.15, and 11.0.
I've tried to set the toolbar item sizing to "Automatic" for all of our toolbar icons, but that results in bad positioning in both Regular and Small Size mode -- the height is way too big.
The native size of the icon .png files are 128 x 128. What's odd is that if I resize the window with the toolbar to be wider, the NSToolbarItems in the overflow area will be displayed in the toolbar are 128 x 128, where the rest of the toolbar icons get displayed as a 32 x 32 icon.
The only way to get it to layout remotely correct is to make the NSToolbarItem to have an explicit minimum size of 24 x 24 and maximum size of 32 x 32. And that USED to allow "small size", but on Monterey, it no longer does.
Anyone had any success with small size icons on Monterey?
Has anyone experienced all review delays? We usually get reviewed very fast or within 24 hours. Our last version was stuck in "waiting for review" for 6 days. We resubmitted a newer version yesterday and it's been stuck in the same status. I know apple has introduced a new app submission UX, maybe that's the issue? Anyone is having same delays?

Hi, I have a completely new release of my app coming out with a new tech stack. I noticed that only 1% of my users were on iPad so the new app was not created to be 'compatible' with iPad including how it looks on iPad. Can I release this new version of the app only for iPhone? Or because it was previously available for iPad I have to release for iPad as well?

Is there a way to check your app signature to verify if any one has tampered with the ipa file. I want to know specifically how to determine and handle this type of situation. How can i do a check for this in code(swift).
