App Review Issue/Bug/Delay
More than 2 week's ago submitted 3 apps, and it's still stuck on "In Review" status with zero updates. No updates in statuses. No updates from email support Apple Team. We create some tickets on support tab, but no updates from Apple Team. Apple’s review process usually isn’t this slow, so I’m starting to wonder if something’s broken on their end… Would appreciate any insights or updates from others who’ve managed to get through this too!!! Can you please help us to resolve this issue?

App Store Connect Upload bug
I am trying to submit my app for review but when I click on the 'add to review' button, I am getting the message: Unable to Add for Review The items below are required to start the review process: There are still screenshot uploads in progress. However, there is nothing I am uploading... I tried removing all screenshots, nothing works. It has been 4 days, I cant update my app on the app store... impossible to get any response from Apple... Any inputs will be greatly appreciated.

What trends will shape the future of iOS app development
With agentic coding and AI rapidly improving at solving development problems, I’m starting to question what the next three to five years will look like for iOS developers and whether manual coding will gradually disappear. I’ve been building iOS apps full time since 2013 and while I appreciate AI for speeding up workflows like unit testing, I worry that over reliance could weaken our core skills, reduce our understanding of evolving APIs, and ultimately impact our long term value and demand in the industry, does anyone else feel the same?

Why do I feel like my growth as an iOS developer has slowed down
I have 9 plus years of iOS experience starting with Objective C and moving to Swift, but after 4 years in my current company with little salary growth, I am struggling to find new opportunities in a highly competitive market with fewer openings and broader skill expectations. I am unsure about the long term career path for mobile developers, concerned about compensation growth and lacking SwiftUI experience, and would appreciate guidance on what additional skills to learn to stand out and secure better opportunities.

App Review Issue
It has been approximately three weeks since we submitted our app for review via App Store Connect, but it remains "In Review" and the review process has not been completed. For this reason, we also requested an expedited app review to the App Review Team last week. Will the review proceed if we simply wait? Is there any way to check the detailed status of this app review?

Waiting for Review for 11/9 days (2 apps) — normal queue time or something account-related?
Hi everyone, I’m hoping to sanity-check App Store review queue times and see if there’s anything I might be missing. I currently have two iOS apps sitting in “Waiting for Review” with no movement: App 1: Apple ID 6758135741 — submitted Feb 6, 2026 at 5:42 PM (11 days in “Waiting for Review”) App 2: Apple ID 6758885884 — submitted Feb 8, 2026 at 4:33 PM (9 days in “Waiting for Review”) In App Store Connect I don’t see any warnings, messages, or visible account issues. Builds uploaded successfully and metadata looks complete. A couple questions for anyone who’s seen this recently: Are 9–11 day “Waiting for Review” times currently normal due to queue volume? Are there common “silent blockers” that can keep an app in this state even without an obvious warning (e.g., Agreements/Tax/Banking, export compliance/encryption, missing compliance answers, etc.)? If this seems unusual, what’s the best next step—Support ticket, Resolution Center, or an expedite request? Thanks in advance for any insight. If helpful, I can share the app category and whether it uses IAP, sign-in, or encryption.

I Need Developer Help
Hello, I have created an app in Emergent that I am trying to set up on the app store, but I am lost. As you might expect, I am new at this. I know this app is a winner. It's all about productivity. I can't pay, but I am willing to share the rights to the app with the person that helps me get it going. I would also like to put in in Android, so if you can help there it would be even better.

Stuck in "Waiting for Review" for 11 Days - Missed Critical Launch Date
I am looking for some insight into current App Store review times. The Situation: I submitted my new app for its first review on February 3rd. It has been sitting in the "Waiting for Review" state for 11 days now and has not moved to "In Review." The Impact: We had a major launch event planned for today (Feb 14). We have marketing campaigns live and users waiting, but we have officially missed our launch window because the app is still sitting in the queue. My Questions: Is anyone else experiencing wait times this long (10+ days) just to enter the review stage? How much time does it typically take for a first-time submission to go live once it finally enters review? Is there any way to flag this delay if it has exceeded the standard 48-hour window? We are losing marketing budget every hour this is delayed. Any advice on how to get this moving would be appreciated. Thanks.

App Groups container data on Apple Dev account transfer
I have an iOS app with App Groups. The app uses the CallKit extension for call block functionality. All data is stored in UserDefaults(suiteName:) and FileManager.default.containerURL(forSecurityApplicationGroupIdentifier: ). I am planning to transfer this app to a different Apple Developer account and would like to clarify how App Groups behave after the transfer: Will my main app Target and CallKit Extensions keep access to the same AppGroups containers with the new Team ID? I will recreate the same AppGroups container identifiers on a new account but my concern is about Team ID change, that can lead to loss access to original containers and all data from previous Team ID. I need to clearly understand whether the app can continue accessing the existing App Group container after the Team ID changes, or if I must manually back up data before transfer and restore all data after transfer completed. As long as the App Group still exists on the original developer account and the user has not updated the app, will the app continue to function normally and access the original App Group container? If I delete the App Group identifiers from the original developer account and recreate it on the new account: 3.1. Will this immediately apply for existing installed apps? 3.2. Or will the impact only occur after submitting and installing a new app version signed with the new Team ID?

App is "Ready for Distribution" still not in App Store
My app was reviewed and approved on Feb 3rd, and still does not show in app store. I have submitted a ticket to Apple Feb 3rd, and still have not received a reply. I get either 404, or "this app is not available your country or region". This does it for me, and anyone I've asked to try it. This is very confusing - please someone help! https://apps.apple.com/us/app/exp-lights/id6758403863

Would practical ASO sessions help developers improve results?
I see many developers struggling with ASO where AI written content does not deliver results, performance analysis is unclear, localization is ignored, App Store optimization is incomplete, and keywords are often poorly chosen. I am considering running two simple group sessions to share practical tips and show clear ways to improve ASO with real effort involved, and I would like feedback on this idea whether offered for a small fee or even for free.

Rejoining iOS development after long break what updates matter most
Hey everyone, I’ve been building iOS apps since 2011, released several, took a four-year break, and recently launched two new apps, but the ecosystem feels very different now. Earlier, new apps saw strong first-day downloads and fast Google indexing, while today my App Store pages took weeks to appear and show almost no organic traction without promotion, so I’m curious if others notice this and how developers now gain discovery.

Transfer Ratings and Reviews To Another App (new bundle identifier) Within Same Developer Account
We have a legacy mobile application (bundle.identifier.1) and a new mobile application (bundle.identifier.2). They are nearly the exact same mobile app, but re-written in a new modern framework. We want to temporarily have both apps published and gracefully transition users from the old app to the new over several months so users can upgrade as they are ready. Once the legacy users are cut over, we want to transition all the legacy Ratings and Reviews to the new app. Is it possible to transfer Ratings and Reviews from the legacy app (bundle.identifier.1) to the new app (bundle.identifier.2)? I found lots of documentation on app transfers, but these are two separate apps in the same Developer Account and Account Holder. We want to have a flexible transition process but don't want to lose out on well established ratings and reviews.

watchOS standalone app shows solid black icon in review
Hey all, I am a first time publisher navigating the App Review process. I want to publish a watchOS only app, but keep getting this feedback: Regarding 4.0, Apple Watch app icon's background color is still black. Based on our investigation, you have included plain black icons. To resolve this issue, it would be appropriate to modify your app's Apple Watch app icon to include a lighter background color to ensure that it is recognizable and appears circular on Apple Watch. I set the following configs: Project -> Targets -> Apple Watch App -> App Icons & Launch Screen -> App Icon set to my Icon Composer file. Checked App Icons Source. I was able to install my build through TestFlight and successfully install on my watch, and the App Icon displays properly there. I also saw a recent Reddit post from another developer facing the same issue. I can't link that post, but will share this post with the OP. I attached what the reviewer sent me with the rejection.

App is stuck in "Waiting for review" for more than a month, going past my launching deadline
Hi, I'm here hoping for some help or advice in terms of a critical situation I'm currently facing. I've submitted an iOS app more than one month ago, it was quickly got review and rejected twice, and when I re-submit the third time with new build, it then was stuck in the "Waiting for review" status for about 3 weeks. Then, I decided to withdraw the submission and re-submit again, but it doesn't work and remain "Waiting for review" status until now. During these waiting period, I’ve contacted Apple Support multiple times through mails, and received confirmation that my expedited review request was approved. However, no progress has been made since then. Here is a quick summary of the timeline Initial submission: July 29, 2025 Rejected due to Guideline 4.2.2 & 2.1: July 30, 2025 Second submission: Aug 4, 2025 Rejected due to Guideline 4.2.2 & 4.2.0: Aug 6, 2025 Third submission: Aug 6, 2025 Withdraw third & create forth submission: Aug 25, 2025 If anyone from the App Review team sees this post, or if any developers have experienced a similar situation and can offer advice, we would be truly grateful. Thank you in advance for your time and support.
