I want to statically link xcframework as binaryTarget in Swift Package, but it is copied into the product as dynamic when the Xcode build. How to use xcframework in SwiftPackage and statically link it into iOS product?
The Package.swift content and the project are:
The WebP.xcframework is static:
The Xcode Build Product's WebP.framework is dynamic:

Hi,
Our organisation just ran out of the included Xcode Cloud hours. I now want to upgrade (I am the account holder).
There does not seem to be a way to do this on the Apple Developer and/or App Store Connect websites, as you'd expect.
The Get started with Xcode Cloud page mentions that I need to use the Apple Developer app.
However, when I sign up to this in the Apple Developer app, the account shown when pressing Subscribe is my personal account, not any account related to the organization:
It is impossible to change the payment details.
How can I use the organization account to pay for this, as I obviously do not want to get charged to my personal account?
Thanks.

We are trying to create a screentime app using the Family Controls as well as Device activity frameworks. The build succeeds but while pushing to an iphone we are getting an info.plist file for deviceactivity.framework could not be found error. For reference when using the Screentime API a physical device must be used not a simulator. When we remove the device activity framework this error also occurs for the family controls framework. We have added the Family Controls(development) Capability and applied for the distribution capability. We have redownloaded xcode multiple times on the main device, deleted derived data, and redownloaded all of the iphone SDKs and the issue still persists.
Hi - I've added in-app purchases (Quarterly and Yearly
) to my app and submitted it for TestFlight. The app is available, but in my Developer account, the in-app purchases section still shows the products as 'Waiting for Review.'
When I test the app for in-app purchase, the dialog does not appear. Is this issue of "Approval" of the in-app purchase product?
If YES, how can I get approval for these in-app purchase products?
FYI: I have attached a screenshot of the in-app purchase products.
Please suggest
Thanks,
Sushil
We'd like to give account holder role to another person in our team and when I tried to verify my account and post id photos in Developer app, I always got the next answer:
'Unable to Send Information, Your information could not be sent due to a connection error' with 2 buttons (try, cancel).
I tried it many times with same result.
I don't know what is wrong.
Hello guys,

Hello,
We are facing deeplink related issue for our production app. In our finding, we got to know that issue is related to apple CDN caching, We have did the changes at our server level but still it is navigating to previous URL. Earlier deeplink was "https://bobcard.bobfinancial.com/dl" now it is changed to "https://linkdeep.bobcard.co.in/mapp". Please check and update this new one in apple cdn cache. For the new link it is redirecting to App store instead of App.
Below are the link through which we have tested deeplink scenario:
"https://app-site-association.cdn-apple.com/a/v1/bobcard.bobfinancial.com" working fine.
"https://app-site-association.cdn-apple.com/a/v1/linkdeep.bobcard.co.in" it is throwing not found error.
I built an app in Python with Kivy and I'm trying to bring it over to iOS. I made an Xcode project out of it that builds successfully, but it fails to install in the simulator or onto a device. There's an error about symlink, but I'm not sure how to fix it. Any advice would be appreciated.

Swift Package:
I have an old objc library, that is added as XCFramework to swift package as a binary target.
targets: [
.target(
name: "CoreServices",
dependencies: ["OldContainer"],
path: "CoreServices"
),
.binaryTarget(
name: "OldContainer",
path: "Frameworks/OldContainer.xcframework"
),
]
This serves the purpose, it builds fine and able to run on simulator. However this framework is breaking the Xcode previews.

Based on the error, SCSecureServicesFactory is an objc file inside the XCFramework. Since this is a binary target, I could not add a swift setting module map flag to the XCFramework.
Is there any workaround to get the previews working ? Or Am I blocked until the library is converted into swift ?

I'm trying to load a Safari Extension onto my physical iPhone 15 running iOS 18.4 but am seeing the following message: "iOS 18.4 is not installed."
When I click the Get button I see that the download has failed with the following error message. I tried updating my laptop to Sequoia and I also deleted and re-installed Xcode but that didn't fix it. Any thoughts?

Hi, I'm encountering an issue with the .symbols files when building iOS and generating ipa file with Xcode 15.4 vs Xcode 16.1.
I built my iOS project and generated an ipa file using Xcode 15.4. After I unzipped the ipa, there are around 10 .symbols files in the Symbols folder. One of them is about 20MB and others are under 1MB.
However, when I built and generated the ipa with the newer Xcode 16.1, after unzip, there are no .symbols files in the Symbols folder.
Could anyone explain why this happened? Is there a new setting or behavior in Xcode 16.1 that affects the generation of .symbols files?
I think the .symbols files are needed for analyzing crash reports and symbolication, and I’m unsure why they aren’t present in the build generated with Xcode 16.1.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

I'm currently transferring an iOS app to a new Apple Developer account and following the process outlined in Apple’s documentation:
🔗 TN3159 - Migrating Sign in with Apple users for an app transfer
The process for generating transfer_identifiers and migrating existing users is clear, and I don’t expect issues with that part.
However, I have a question about preserving the user session after the transfer.
My setup:
The app uses Sign in with Apple via a backend-based authentication flow.
On login, the app retrieves the authorization_code and sends it to the backend.
The backend exchanges the code for tokens from Apple, including a refresh_token.
That refresh_token is then used on the backend to validate the user’s identity on subsequent requests.
My concern:
Once I initiate the app transfer, migrate users, and update the backend with new Apple credentials (client ID, team ID, etc.), I assume that the existing tokens issued under the old credentials will become invalid.
So my question is:
Is there a way to maintain the user’s authenticated session through this transition without requiring them to manually sign in again?
I’d like to ensure a seamless experience for users, if possible.

I am using XCode16 and macOS 14.7.2. Previously, using the instruments on an iPhone with iOS 14.3 was normal, but when I upgraded to iOS 18, the instruments often couldn't find the library.
I have to restart the instruments to restore normal operation, but the problem will occur again after using it for a period of time
When testing Energy Impact on Xcode, it shows zero, and other data is normal

I need to elicit the location of the user in the Siri intents and so I call:
override init(){ super.init() self.locationManager=CLLocationManager() self.locationManager.delegate = self; self.locationManager.startUpdatingLocation() self.locationManager.requestWhenInUseAuthorization() }
Still neither
public func locationManagerDidChangeAuthorization(_ manager: CLLocationManager)
nor
public func locationManager(_ manager: CLLocationManager, didUpdateLocations locations: [CLLocation])
are ever called, notwithstanding the presence of the correct entry in the info.plist, the inclusion of the library and the indication of the delegation with:
class IntentHandler: INExtension, INSendMessageIntentHandling, CLLocationManagerDelegate, UISceneDelegate
are ever called.
Is there any problem with CLLocation manager on intents? What would be a big problem as there is no way to share information with the main app!
