Apple Developer enrollment stuck due to email verification code error
Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone here has run into this before. I created an Apple Developer account and everything was working fine until Apple asked me to verify my work email address. The email is legitimate and matches my website domain. Apple did send me the verification email, and I received the code without any issue. However, when I entered the code, it repeatedly said the code was incorrect — even though I’m certain it was entered correctly. After a few attempts, I hit the limit and now see a message saying I’ve exceeded the maximum number of attempts (3). I contacted Apple Developer Support through the developer site about a week ago but haven’t received any response yet. At this point: I can log into my Apple ID normally with no issues I cannot proceed with enrolling in the Apple Developer Program I can’t pay the fee or complete setup because the email verification step is blocked It’s been over a week since the lockout, and I’m not sure how to reset the verification or trigger a new code. Has anyone experienced this before, or does anyone know how to get this resolved? Any help or guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Developer Disk Image could not be mounted on this device
I have been working on a M1 Mac mini, using my iPad Air M2 running 26.3 iPadOS. Switched to a new M4 Mac mini, went to connect my iPad to run from Xcode and was presented this "The developer disk image could not be mounted on this device." So how can a get an updated DDI? I appreciate any ideas. /Users/robertlawson/Desktop/Screenshot 2026-02-15 at 8.21.50 PM.png

Open Shading Language (OSL) in Metal
Hi. I'm a 3D designer, using Blender for most of my work. The most recent Blender conference discussed utilizing the Open Shading Language (OSL) in their latest versions, which allows designers to write custom shaders for their workflows. At the moment, only Nvidia Optix GPU's can utilize this language for rendering (from what I understand), but Blender developers stated they are waiting on other GPU manufacturers to implement this feature as well. I'm not sure if there are any licensing issues here, but would this be something Apple could implement in Metal to make their hardware more attractive to the 3D design community? Any help or knowledge on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

Question: Does CXCallDirectoryProvider affect outgoing call UI? (inconsistent behavior after iOS update)Question: Does CXCallDirectoryProvider affect outgoing call UI? (inconsistent behavior after iOS update)
Hello Apple Developer Technical Support team, We have an iOS app that provides caller identification via a Call Directory extension (CXCallDirectoryProvider). Our extension provides identification entries (phone number → label), and users enable it in Settings > Phone > Call Blocking & Identification. We would like to confirm whether Call Directory is used only for incoming calls, and understand why the outgoing call UI sometimes shows labels. Observed behavior Incoming calls: After a user logs in again (which triggers a server sync and then reloads the Call Directory extension), the caller label is shown correctly on the incoming call screen for matching numbers. Outgoing calls: In general, the outgoing call screen often shows only the phone number (no label), even when the same number exists in our identification entries and the extension is enabled. However, on some devices, the outgoing call screen does show a label even when the number is not saved in the local Contacts app. In at least one customer case, the outgoing label behavior changed after an iOS update: before updating iOS, labels were not shown on outgoing calls; after updating iOS, labels started appearing (with no changes in our app settings/config). Questions Is the Phone app expected to consult Call Directory identification entries only for incoming calls (caller ID), and not for outgoing call UI? If labels can appear on outgoing calls, what are the possible sources and rules (e.g., Recents cache, carrier Name Display/CNAM, other system caches), and is any of that behavior documented? Are there known iOS version changes or issues that could explain “outgoing label not shown” becoming “outgoing label shown” after an OS update? We can provide: A minimal repro project, steps to reproduce, and exact iOS versions/devices Screenshots/video sysdiagnose / device logs (please advise what log types are most useful) Thank you,

Using an API key with xcodebuild commands for Enterprise builds
Hey folks, Looking for some assistance with using an API key with xcodebuild commands to archive/export builds on our Enterprise developer account. The goal here is to allow Xcode to completely manage signing/certificates with our cloud distribution certificate, since these builds are happening in CI and we don't want to be manually handling user sessions/certificates on these machines. This is working great with our App Store account, but with our Enterprise account we're getting errors both archiving and exporting the builds. Here's an example of an export command that is giving errors: xcodebuild -exportArchive -exportOptionsPlist /path/to/exportOptions.plist -archivePath /path/to/archive.xcarchive -exportPath /path/to/export -authenticationKeyID *** -authenticationKeyIssuerID *** -authenticationKeyPath /path/to/key.p8 -allowProvisioningUpdates I've put some example values there, but we've double/triple checked the real values when this is actually running. These are the errors we're getting: 2026-02-02 12:30:04.022 xcodebuild[59722:1854348] DVTServices: Received response for 0794248F-E534-474D-ABBF-40C1375B6590 @ <https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/xcbuild/QH65B2/listTeams.action?clientId=XABBG36SBA>. Unity iOS Game Name Display Issue
When building a Unity iOS game, the app name displays incorrectly as "BigBall" on the iPhone home screen, despite setting the project name and bundle identifier to "Big Ball" in Unity and Apple Developer account. The correct name, "Big Ball," appears in TestFlight. I tried solutions from ChatGPT and DeepSeek, but none were satisfactory. Please help me.

Apple Developer Program Enrollment — Pending for Over 3 Weeks (D-U-N-S Verified)
Hello, I’m posting here to seek guidance or visibility regarding a delayed Apple Developer Program enrollment. I completed my organization enrollment over three weeks ago and provided a valid D-U-N-S number, which is correctly listed and verifiable. Since submitting the enrollment: The status has remained unchanged I’ve contacted Apple Developer Support three times via email I’ve received no response or timeline updates There is no option shown to request a phone call At this point, I’m unable to proceed with TestFlight, app distribution, or further development planning, and the lack of communication has made it difficult to understand next steps or expected timelines. If anyone from Apple Support or the community can advise: Whether this delay is expected If additional verification steps are required Or how best to escalate appropriately I’d really appreciate the guidance. Thank you for your time.

Guideline 5.1.2(i) - Clarification on AI service consent for kids educational app
Our children's educational app (COPPA-compliant) was rejected under Guidelines 5.1.1(i) and 5.1.2(i) for sharing personal data with a third-party AI service without clear disclosure and user permission. How our app works: Our app is an AI-powered learning assistant for kids. Children type questions (e.g., "Why is the sky blue?") and the app sends the question to Google Gemini's API to generate an age-appropriate answer. This is the core and only purpose of the app — it's an AI chat app, similar to how a search engine sends queries to its servers. Our current setup: Google Gemini operates as a data processor (not a data recipient) — zero data retention, no model training on user data Our privacy policy already discloses Google Gemini as the AI provider, what data is processed, and that no data is stored The app is clearly marketed as an AI-powered assistant — users understand they are interacting with AI Our questions: Infrastructure vs. data sharing: We use Google Gemini to process queries the same way we use Google Sign-In for authentication, MongoDB Atlas for our database, and Railway for hosting. In all cases, user data passes through a third-party service to provide core functionality. Is the expectation that AI services require additional consent beyond what's expected for other third-party infrastructure services? If so, what distinguishes them? 2. Minimum consent implementation: If in-app consent is required, what constitutes sufficient "explicit permission"? Specifically: - Is a simple alert dialog (similar to the ATT prompt) with "Allow" / "Not Now" before first use sufficient? - Or is a more detailed consent screen with checkboxes/toggles required? - Since our app's sole purpose is AI-powered Q&A, what should happen if the user taps "Not Now"? The app cannot function without the AI service. 3. Privacy policy disclosure: Our privacy policy already identifies Google Gemini by name, describes what data is sent (child's questions, name, and age for personalization), and explains Google's zero-retention policy. Is updating the privacy policy alone sufficient, or is a separate in-app consent mechanism always required under 5.1.2(i)? 4. Children's apps specifically: Since parents set up the app (behind a parental gate), should the consent be presented to the parent during setup, or does it need to appear elsewhere? Any guidance on the minimum compliant implementation would be greatly appreciated. We want to get this right. Thank you.

AlarmKit Fixed Schedule Going off at Midnight
I am getting bug reports from users that occasionally the AlarmKit alarms scheduled by my app are going off exactly at midnight. In my app, users can set recurring alarms for sunrise/sunset etc. I implement this as fixed schedule alarms over the next 2-3 days with correct dates pre-computed at schedule time. I have a background task which is scheduled to run at noon every day to update the alarms for the next 2-3 days. Are there any limitations to the fixed schedule which might be causing this unintended behavior of going off at midnight?

Blockchain question
I’m a normie: not a developer at all. My idea might be super dumb. Would it be possible to please let us have a button in iphone photos that when toggled allows us to save certain chosen raw images to an iphone block chain, AND have Apple authenticate they are native photos, marked the milisecond they were taken, that they are native and no AI was used on those images? That might go a long way toward restoring trust in truth in photos again. We could also have the same thing for AI. Marked notification in the data on AI photos that can't be erased. Sorry if this is already underway and I'm just a normal person and therefore don't know it. I just want to be able to trust things again. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Adding Github Account to Xcode
I've been trying to add my Github Account to Xcode, but even with my user name and access token, all I get is a spinning wheel. No error message, no feedback. Nothing. I'm going to do it from terminal but this seems just poor. Especially, since there's no feedback from XCode on what the problem is. Any help would be nice.

Seeking Guidance: How to Launch a Privacy-First Messaging App with Maximum Impact
Hi everyone, I’m building a messaging app because I’ve seen firsthand how much support and safety is overlooked for this generation online. My goal is to give teens a foundation of security, privacy, and mental health support, while still letting them connect freely. I want to leverage Apple’s platform to help this mission reach the right audience and have real impact. The app already includes: Community chat with message blurring for sensitive or harmful words. Anti-shoulder surfing tools to protect private conversations. Shake dashboard for quick access to emergency services. In-chat locks with ML detection for grooming patterns, offering resources while respecting privacy. Full user control: messages can be deleted anytime, blocking is permanent, and accounts can’t bypass restrictions on the same device. User consent-first design: every feature is opt-in and controlled by the user. At this point, I’m looking for guidance on how to position and prepare the app to reach Apple editorial or headline attention — what steps or best practices help mission-driven apps get noticed for features, WWDC spotlights, or App Store promotion? My focus isn’t just on improving the app, but on launch strategy and visibility in a way that amplifies the mission responsibly. If it’s helpful, I can share a TestFlight build or walkthrough to illustrate the app in action. Thank you for any insights or advice — I want to make sure this mission has the best chance to reach and support the generation it’s built for.

Can I use combine on a property in an @Observable class?
As the title suggests, I have a class marked with @Observable. Within the class I have multiple var's. When one of my var's changes (formation), I want to run an updateOrCreateContent(). I had thought I could just do this with a bit of combine, but I'm struggling to get it working... The code below has a compile error at $formation When I mark formation @Published, it generates a different compile error: "Invalid redeclaration of synthesized property '_formation'" any help appreciated thanks class LayoutModel { var players: [Player] = [] var formation: Formation = .f433 var cancellables = Set<AnyCancellable>() init(players: [Player], formation: Formation) { self.players = players self.formation = formation updateOrCreateContent() $formation.sink(receiveValue: { _ in self.updateOrCreateContent() }) .store(in: &cancellables) }

Authentication issue from Expo EAS CLI
Hello, I am experiencing an authentication issue when submitting my Expo iOS app to App Store Connect using the Expo EAS CLI from the terminal. The exact flow is as follows: I run the submit command in the terminal. I am prompted to enter my Apple ID. After entering the Apple ID, I am prompted to enter my Apple ID password. After the password is accepted, I am prompted to enter a 6-digit verification code. I receive the 6-digit code immediately via SMS or phone call. I enter the code correctly and immediately, but the CLI always returns “Invalid code.” This happens every time. Important notes: The Apple ID and password are correct. The 6-digit code is entered immediately and exactly as received. Logging in to App Store Connect via a web browser with the same Apple ID, password, and SMS code works without any issue. The problem only occurs when authenticating through the terminal using Expo EAS CLI. Could you please advise why the verification code is being rejected in the CLI and how I can successfully authenticate and submit my app?

How to test iap (subcription) purchase?
Hi :) I'm new to app store connect, and I just want to verify what does it take to be able to test subscription for a new app that isn't approved yet using sandbox? Or is this not possible that the app has to be approved first? More context below: My app is a new app, I only submitted for review and I linked the subscription from the app’s In-App Purchases and Subscriptions section on the version page when submit it for review. It got rejected for now. When the app review status is both in-review and rejected, I've tried to test my subscription, where there is a button (like "subscribe"/"become a member") in my app that user can click on, which it calls ios's IAPProvider.startMembershipPurchase, I just get Error: [IAPService] Product not found: [<my_subscription_id>]. I ensured my subscription's product id in app store connect matches with the one in my code. I can see the "rejected" status both on my app and the subscription. So can anyone help clarify if the app has to be approved first in order to test subscription? Or am I missing any other setup? Or it might just be my code? Thanks in advance! Any info is super helpful!
